De SMET-COLVERWELL.ON Wednesday,the 16th instant, at Christ Church,Queanbeyan, by the Rev.W. M. White, Mr. Charles De Smetand Miss Ada LouisaColverwell were united in the holybonds of matrimony. Thebride, who was attired in a prettycostume of cream silk wasattended by her sister, Miss RuthColverwell, who wore creamnun's veiling. The bridegroom'sbrother, Mr. A. DeSmet,acted as best man.The wedding breakfast was served at theresidence of thebride's mother (Burbong), where the youngcouple receivedthe congratulations of their many friends.Mr. and Mrs. DeSmetreceived some handsome and costlypresents. The gift of thebridegroom to the bride was a goldbracelet set withdiamonds and to the bridesmaid a goldbrooch.
