He began his career with his father in Bathurst in 1892 and today at 81 years of age, is still keenly active in his lengthy profession. Mr Davies has been 60 years in the trade. He celebrated his Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1954. Recently Mr Davies was knocked down by a motor bike and broke his arm, However he quickly recovered and avenged himself by riding his push bike and taking a regular dip when the weather permits.
